Max Anker established Old Greenwich, Connecticut’s EasyBoat in 2024. As the founder of the business, he manages a platform designed to partner boaters with specialized marine service providers throughout the Long Island Sound region. He manages all business operations at EasyBoat, including financing, marketing and advertising, employee onboarding, and more. In addition to managing the business, Max Anker attends industry events to expand his professional knowledge and network, including the Hartford Boat Show at Mohegan Sun and the New York Boat Show at the Javits Center.
Max Anker studied business and entrepreneurship at the College of Charleston, in South Carolina, where he competed as a member of the varsity sailing team prior to graduation. He has served in the role of skipper with Team USA Sailing. As a member of team USA, Leyton Borcherding (crew) and Max Anker (skipper) became the youngest sailors to win the I420 boat class at the United States Youth Championships in 2017. Mr. Anker has enjoyed victories and podium finishes at many sailing events around the world, including the 420 World Championships, the NIT Team Racing Regatta, the Connecticut State Championships, and the US Midwinter Championships.
